Using Lesley Humphrey's ‘12 Lights’ method of seeing and painting light, participants will explore a plethora of oil painting techniques to creating beautiful, luminous paintings of people and horses…. Says Lesley; “Horses and their humans have had such a wonderful connection throughout history…. and so many students are struggling with incorporating the figurative aspect. I would love to help them to paintpeople, horses, and their connection, beautifully and effectively… Over the years, my tried-and-true ’12-Lights’ program provides so much clarity to the chaos of painting, helping artists to see and paint light, so fundamental to creating lovely works of art no matter the style or media.
